For business owners

Your company's records are worth real money to AI labs.

AI labs are paying businesses for the records they already have: years of emails, job files, quotes, customer calls, and all the back-and-forth it takes to get work done. Tell us a bit about yours and find out what they're worth. Sensitive information is redacted before anything is shared, and you keep your data.

What records are worth depends on how much history they hold and what they show. Licenses range from tens of thousands of dollars to over $1 million.

Why your records

AI has read the internet. It hasn't seen how your business actually runs.

The big AI models learned from the public internet, and by now most of what's useful there has been used. The internet also mostly shows finished work: the article, the product page, the final price. It rarely shows what it took to get there.

That part lives in your records. A customer email that turned into a quote, a job that went sideways and how your team sorted it out, years of questions answered and decisions made. AI labs want to build systems that can actually do this kind of work, and records like yours are how they learn it.

The process, not just the result

Your records show the back-and-forth: what was asked, what went wrong, how it got fixed, and how it turned out.

Years nobody can recreate

No one can generate or scrape ten years of a real company at work. A long history is hard to come by.

Work that isn't written down anywhere else

There's plenty online about what businesses do. There's very little about how a contractor, a shop, or a practice runs day to day.

What it's worth

You don't need to be a big company.

People assume only large companies have anything worth licensing. It doesn't really work that way. A small firm with fifteen years of records can be worth more than a much bigger company whose history is thin or generic.

A few things move the number most:

1

How far back it goes

The longer the history, the more it shows.

2

Real back-and-forth

Jobs won and lost, problems raised and solved, and the conversations in between.

3

How specialized your work is

The more specific your field, the harder your records are to find anywhere else.

4

How it connects

The emails, the job file, and the invoice for the same job, together.

One thing that doesn't matter is how the business is doing.

We don't ask about revenue or profit, and your credit doesn't come into it. A company having a hard year has records worth just as much as one that's booming.

If your business wrote it down, it might count.

The process

How it works

Here's how it usually goes.

1

Tell us what you have

Fill out the form below or give us a call. You describe your records. You don't need to send anything.

2

Find out what they're worth

We get in touch, learn what we need to about your records, and come back with a quote.

3

Look it over together

Before anything is final, we go through a sample with you, with sensitive information redacted, and settle the number.

4

Sign and get paid

You license a copy for AI training. You keep your data and keep using it.

What stays yours

Your records, your call.

Your data

You're licensing a copy for training. Your originals stay with you, and nothing changes in how you use them.

Privacy

Sensitive information about your customers, your staff, and your company is redacted before anything is shared.

What's included

You'll see what's being licensed, and you can ask to leave things out.

Before

Hi Maria, can you send the Johnson quote to mike@yourcompany.com before Friday? He said to call him at 555-0142.

After

Hi [NAME], can you send the [CLIENT] quote to [EMAIL] before Friday? He said to call him at [PHONE].

An illustration. What gets redacted depends on the records.

FAQ

Questions people ask first

Why would AI labs want my records when they have the whole internet?

The internet is mostly finished results. Your records show the work behind them, like how a request turned into a quote or how a problem got solved. That's what AI labs need to build systems that do real jobs, and it isn't sitting on the public web.

Is a small company's data worth anything?

Often, yes. How far back your records go and how specialized your work is matter more than headcount. A small firm with a long history can be worth more than a big company with a generic one.

How much could it be worth?

It depends on how many years you have, what kind of work the records show, and how specialized it is. Licenses range from tens of thousands of dollars to over $1 million. The best way to find out what yours are worth is to ask.

Do I lose my data?

No. You license a copy for training. You keep the originals and keep using them exactly as you do now.

What about my customers' and employees' privacy?

Sensitive information is redacted before anything is shared. What matters is how the work got done, not who did it.

Is this legal?

For most companies, yes. It mostly comes down to whether the company owns the records, what your customer contracts say, and whether sensitive information can be redacted. We go through each with you. This isn't legal advice, and you're welcome to have your lawyer look over any license.

Does it matter how the business is doing?

No. We don't ask about revenue or profit, and your credit doesn't come into it. Growing, struggling, or winding down, the records count the same.

How much work is this for me?

The form takes about ten minutes. After that, we get in touch and take it from there with you. When it's time to get the records out, we help with that too.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Getting a quote is free.

What happens after I submit?

We get in touch at the email or phone number you gave us, go over what you have, and come back with a quote.
